Virtual Juvenile Delinquency Mediation Training
Juvenile delinquency mediation programs are designed to help children who commit delinquent acts resolve cases outside of the courtroom. In juvenile delinquency mediations, victims and offenders can sit down together and talk out the juveniles actions. Although these conversations may initially be difficult for the parties to hold, it eventually sets the foundation for meaningful resolutions moving forward with the goal of making the victim feel whole and children avoid making the same actions. During the course, participants will learn the how to effectively do the following:
Navigate Juvenile courts and mediation programs;
Master mediation ethics and mandatory child abuse reporting;
Identify the various types of violence related to juvenile delinquency cases
Observe the effects of child development on mediation participation and conflict resolution;
